The Learning Centre

Located in a beautiful historic building on Rua das Flores in Chiado, a central and lively area of Lisbon, just five minutes from the famous Praça do Comércio, the building offers the perfect mix of modern features and traditional Portuguese architecture.

British Council

Students also take some of their classes in the prestigious British Council in the en vogue area of Príncipe Real, which also gives them access to one of the building’s wonderful gardens during recesses.

The Student Residence

You will live with other students from all over the world in a dedicated residence. Located in the vibrant area of Benfica, in a neighbourhood with many universities, our Lisbon Student Residence is an easy 20-minute metro ride away from our Lisbon Learning Centre. The residence is just five minutes away from the Parque Florestal de Monsanto, one of the most beautiful parks in Lisbon with a variety of activities on offer from tennis to hiking. You will also be a five-minute walk from the metro connecting you directly to the city centre as well as other areas of the city.

The Co-Working Space

Next to your living residence, you will find a large and private space open to the Forward cohorts, in which individual study, group learning, and conferences take place. The space is designed with flexible furniture to encourage and ignite creativity and collaboration.

Student clubs and social events

All Forward students can submit a proposal to create a club for something they have a common interest in, and if approved, can access a budget and take the lead in managing the club activities. This is mediated by our student committee.

Our first cohort created a basketball club, organising weekly meetings to play outdoors. Parque Florestal Monsanto near the student residence offers an extensive area that can be used for various sports, including basketball. Other students founded a guitar club to learn how to play the instrument together. 

Many on-campus social events are also organised along the year, such as the Winter Holiday celebration and the Carnival and pancakes party.
